Vitamins and Minerals

I'm just going to give you some basic info here...  And, remember, I'm not a doctor and I'm not a nutritionist.  I'm just a regular person who has learned about this stuff!

First of all, be sure to take Vitamin C every day!  It will really keep your immune system up so you won't get sick as much.  SO many students get sick right during finals week.  It's because of the stress, the lack of sleep and all the junk food they eat while they are studying!  I see the poor things, sitting there, sick as anything, having to take my test...  Of course, they don't bring any tissues with them, so they're wiping snot ALL over the pages.  Yuck!  Lucky me for getting to grade a stack of snot-filled exams!  I have one teacher-friend who actually microwaves his tests before he grades them!  I guess that's supposed to kill all the student-cooties.

Also, that Zicam stuff that you shoot up your nose when you think you're getting a cold is great and really works.  You should always have some in the house - just in case.

For stress, the two best things to take are Calcium and Magnesium.  These are great for your nervous system and will help you feel calm.  The Magnesium is also good for your brain because it helps with your head circulation.  Both are also great for PMS and cramps, ladies!
