Yoga Posture - Bound Angle
Pose

TRANSITION:
This one is easy to get into, but your hips need to be a bit
limber. Sit on your caboose and pull your feet in as
far as you can.
Hold this one for a
nice long time. My cat, Buddy looks a bit
concerned that I may be stuck this way! ("Hey, uh,
shouldn't someone be helping her or something?")
This is a great place to linger and do some meditating.
Focus on keeping your back straight and your knees down.
This pose is great for your legs, hips, upper back and
shoulders -- just a great, overall, pose.
I've seen some "yogis"
(not the one with the pic-a-nic basket) grab their big
toes on this one, but I think that just plain hurts.
Maybe I have sensitive big toes. I just wrap my
hands around my feet. |
