Yoga Posture - Knee Down
Twist Pose

TRANSITION:
Put your arms out to the sides -- still stretching them out
and sweeping like you're making a snow angel. Lift
your right knee up and twist so that it touches the ground.
Look towards your right hand.


Hold for
30-60 seconds. Focus on twisting and stretching that
upper back! This
pose is fantastic for your back and spine -- and you'll
feel it! At first, your back arm may be pretty
high in the air and you may not get that knee on the
ground, but you'll get there quickly. Remember,
don't push to pain. Push to where you're starting
to really feel the pull, then back off a bit... and
relax! |
