Yoga Posture - Stretch

Whew! Finally a yoga
pose that I can do right away! Nothing like exercising
while you're just laying there.
Ahhhh...
Hold for a nice, long time. Stretch out as much as you
can and make yourself really tall. Focus on stretching
your arms out as far as you can reach. This one feels great!
If you have a dumbbell, you can use it to anchor your hands.
This is a very important one
to do have a great posture and help ward off osteoporosis.
Does (did) your grandma hunch over just a bit? This
pose will keep you nice and straight. If you're
wearing a ponytail, take it out before this one so your head
can be down all the way. |
