OK, this is what I got that new zoom lens for! It was great to catch this gull as he soars out over the waves.

Taken with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT on action setting using my new zoom lens, the Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS Image Stabilizer USM Autofocus Lens.

Photoshop: Ramped up the contrast a bit.
